      Controls Engineer Interview

      Jan 18, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New Orleans, LA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Laitram (New Orleans, LA) in Nov 2019

      Interview

This interview process lasted about 4 months. Extremely long. I have never been through such an unprofessional and indecisive interview process such as this. It first started out with a phone call (all 1st interviews do). Then I had to email back a couple of weeks later to find out if they were interested and schedule an interview 3 weeks later. I went for an in person interview. Then they called references which made me think that they were offering a position. Then I receive a call 2-3 weeks later asking me to come back for a 2nd in person interview. Then 3 weeks later, they tell me they’re going in a another direction. It wasted 4 months of my time. It was was rude and unprofessional! My advice is if the candidate is overqualified or asking too much $, then be up front and don’t waste their time.
