The initial interview process was extensive (four hours long) but I appreciated LandDesign's desire to make sure the position was a good fit for both the company and me. It started with an hour-long discussion between me and the Directors of both Communications and HR. I had a tour of the office and chatted with some of the employees. Then, I spoke with the primary team without any senior staff present so that everyone could freely ask questions. Off-site extended team members Skyped in for the ongoing discussion. The core team and Director then took me on a walking tour to see one of LandDesign's projects - a park where we had lunch! I thought the whole process was very well planned and thoughtful. During the second interview, they were very transparent about expectations and wanted to make sure I would be happy with the position before making an offer. This was the most positive interview experience I've ever had. Everyone I came in contact with at LandDesign was welcoming and genuine.
