Hiring process took longer than usually due to COVID-19. I did a phone interview with a member of HR and then a video interview with the hiring manager. About a week later I received notice I had been moved on to the next step of the hiring process. Which is having three references conduct a survey on you, credit check, and background check which included contacting previous employers for dates of hire, this step took longer than usually for me again due to the fact that one of the previous financial institutions I worked for is no longer in business. Be prepared with W2's if you think that verifying your dates of hire in the last 10 years may be a problem for whatever reason. After all the verification pieces were complete and checked out, I received an offer contingent on passing a urine drug screening. The whole process took about 6 weeks. However I do believe COVID-19 and my employment verification certainly delayed the process.
