I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Laserfiche (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
HR was a pleasure to deal with, but the actual technical interview was cold and harsh. HR was very helpful in organizing the interview, making sure all transportation and scheduling needs have been met.
The interview process involved a quiz, which I submitted online, a phone interview with HR, and a technical interview with a team of their engineers. The engineering team seemed fairly reserved and critical throughout the interview, so don't get thrown off by it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There are twenty-five bar stools in a row. Customers who enter the bar follow these two rules:
1) The customer will always sit in the seat farthest away from any other customer.
2) A customer will never sit right next to another customer.
Using these two rules, where should you place the first customer so that the maximum number of customers could sit at the bar?

Interview
The interview process had 3 rounds - HR screening, OA and 2-hour onsite technical. During the onsite, the first hour focused on questions about my resume and past experiences. In the second hour, I solved one SQL question and one medium-level Leetcode question.
After waiting 3 days without any update, I sent a follow-up email. 30 minutes later, they sent me a rejection.

Interview
Online assessment with 4 questions to do in 90 min. First 2 were basic String-related questions, last 2 were harder, one had to do with dfs, the other with more recursion stuff.

Interview
Toxic. HR was like an interrogator, trying to find out all my personal background including parts that are irrelevant to the job. Including my birthplace, age. Manager was denying almost every question you asks him by saying things like “your question is meaningless”, “why asking such a question?”, “that doesn’t matter”. He also said “based on your profile, I assume you’re around …, it is a disadvantage for you in the job market”
