I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Laserfiche (New York, NY) in Sep 2016
Interview
After applying for the role online, I was contacted by a recruiter. She wanted to learn more about my experience and interest in Laserfiche, and asked me for days/times for a phone interview. I responded immediately with several options for her to choose from. A day goes by and she doesn't respond. I followed up to see if she received my email and reiterated my interest in speaking to her about the position. Again, she ignored my email. About a week or so later, I saw on Jobvite that I wasn't selected. Very unprofessional of the recruiter to reach out for an interview, only to ignore a candidate. The least she could have done is replied to explain what happened.

Interview
I applied online and heard back after three weeks and some follow-up. After a long phone interview, they asked me to complete a written editorial project. The project wasn't complicated, but instructions were vague. The HR person I spoke to, while friendly, didn't seem to know much about the project goals or the actual tasks for the position either. After I submitted the project, radio silence. I had to follow up with them to get a simple no response. The overall experience made me feel like they were just using the interview process to get free editing work.
