The interview process is long but not overly serious, they focus on your potential relationship with peers and the firm. Being part of a team is important to Latham and that shows during the interview process. So, upon being selected after submitting your resume, you will be offered and opportunity via email to answer interview questions via a video recording on a phone or computer app. The video recording asks you three random questions, you can practice it several times before taking the final video recording. This is just to get a gist of your personality; the questions are very general. If they like your responses, you will receive a phone call from the main HR office in NY (even if you are applying to a position in a different office), there will be informal conversation and a meeting set up with one of the "Support Staff Managers". The firm will accommodate which ever form of interview that you can do (phone or video conference at one of the offices, or in person). You may have to go through several rounds of interviews (I went through three) during one sitting. You may get called again to do another round of interviews or a follow up phone interview. After, an informal/ conditional offer will be presented. A background check is last.
