I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Latham & Watkins (Houston, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process at Latham & Watkins was thorough, involving 5-6 rounds over several weeks. It started with an online application and a HireVue video interview with standard questions like “Why Latham?” Subsequent rounds included one-on-one and panel interviews with associates, partners, and HR, focusing on resume, behavioral, and technical questions. The tone was conversational but rigorous. Unfortunately, I fell ill and needed to reschedule the final round, only to be told they moved on with other candidates, which was disappointing. Communication was clear, but flexibility was lacking. Prepare for a lengthy process and research the firm’s culture thoroughly.

Interview
It was a quick process for me. I got fast tracked to an interview a day after I put in my application. The first interview is an interview with HireVue so it's an online interview and you record your answers. They ask you simple questions like who you are, what you like, what is customer service to you, etc.
Then, I had a second interview on zoom with a workplace experience manager and coordinator. I didn't get to the next interview but I did talk to HR. They said that usually the interview process is 2 - 3 interviews before hiring. I am assuming there is an in person interview after this one on zoom.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Latham & Watkins (San Diego, CA)
Interview
One prerecorded interview, two zoom interviews, and one in person. The interview process was enjoyable even if it felt like a long process. I didn’t get the job but I made it to the final round and I never felt in the dark about any of the process. Over all a very good experience even if I didn’t get hired.
