Interview
I applied online, and it took a few weeks for them to get back to me, since they were not in any rush to fill this new position. I had two phone interviews, one with HR and one with my supervisor. That was the extent of the interview process that I had. They mostly just asked questions about my experience, what kind of position I was looking for, and what my plans for the future are. They told me quite a bit about the position and the requirements and hours. I was called back a week or so after the second phone interview with a job offer. The background check is a lengthy process; it takes 4 to 6 weeks. The process begins once the position is accepted.
