I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Leaseweb (Amsterdam) in Jan 2018
Interview
After they reviewed my CV, they asked via email which day in upcoming week is better for me for a phone call interview. when I replied, the HR didn't confirm the appointment and I was still waiting for a confirmation reply but it didn't happen. After passing one week, I sent another email asking about the appointment, and the HR replied that he was sick. It was not a pleasant answer, he could write way earlier only one line back that he will contact later or postpone the interview, the waiting time without knowing what is happening was not nice.
When I applied for the position, I attached my CV and online portfolio as it was demanded. During the interview, the HR asked some questions that made me think he didn't look at my portfolio at all and when I asked him if he has seen it, he said he has overlooked it.
The interview started with some typical questions but ended up with some weird questions, like " you are from middle east and now you are in Holland, how did you experience this much of freedom and culture shock". I don't get this question and I consider it as a racist and unprofessional question.
all in all, the HR was not responsible enough for the interview.
