I had an interview as a technical writer with the TownNews division. The interview itself went fine. I was interviewed by a developer and the hiring manager and was asked pretty standard questions about my experience, etc. I was told they had more interviews and would then make some kind of decision. I reached out to the hiring manager as a follow up about a week later and have now been ghosted. It's fine if you chose not to hire a specific candidate but ghosting doesn't speak highly of the company nor is it respectful to the candidate for the time spent during the interview. At least these companies show you who you do not wish to work for. Do better, TownNews.
