I submitted the application online as directed. I then received a follow up message asking me to resubmit it in a certain format - annoying but ok. Then I received an email asking me questions about my experience, which I answered. Then I received an invite for a “pre screening” call from the recruiter. However the recruiter didn’t speak the entire call and the hiring manager was on the call. If the hiring manager is on the call it’s not a “pre” interview. She also was asking interview questions and not pre screening question. Red flags all over the place, clearly micro managing the recruiting process here. I got a rejection email like a month later but I was very turned off by then anyway
