Interview
I applied online via workday and was quickly contacted by one of their recruiters the same week. A few days later, I was briefly interviewed by the recruiter about my background and what I liked about the company. Roughly a week and a half later, I spoke with the hiring manager for 45 minutes. A few weeks after the phone interview, I had in-person interviews with four people. Milestone was acquired by Legrand a couple of years ago, so I spoke with people from the Milestone AV division (Senior Tech Writer, Hiring Manager, Director of Marketing/Communications) along with Legrand’s VP of HR. Everyone was very nice and they quickly put me at ease. Overall, each interview had a conversational tone, and most interviewers focused on a combination of experience- and personality-related questions. Two of the interviews lasted about hour, the other two about 30-40 minutes. Two weeks after the final interviews I heard back about their decision. The entire process took almost two months.
