Interview
I submitted my resume and received an email follow up about a week later noting that I was applying from out of state and they were looking for a hire in X by X. I replied letting them know I was very excited about the opportunity, but I wouldn't be available till a month after their requested date and to let me know if that worked for them. Seemingly, it did, because I was scheduled for a phone call right after. The talent agent ending up missing our first call and did not call at the correct number listed, so we had to reschedule for a later date. Still excited for the opportunity, I rescheduled. We had our call and after about a minute on the line/of introductions, the talent agent asks me to confirm my summer plans (as if she had no knowledge of what I said in my original email) and then proceeds to basically say this won't work. What a disappointment. I basically had to beg on the spot to be interviewed despite the complete disregard for my original email that was very clear. For such a big company that seems to have it all together, this was such an uncomfortable experience. Please have your talent agents do better, even if that means giving them less work. The ball was dropped multiple times here, and as a candidate who was not only qualified but ridiculously excited for the opportunity to work at Lemonade, this was so disappointing.
