Did 5 rounds of interviews to land the role and the final “deal-breaker” round was with the client. It took a long time before the confirmation finally arrived and glad that it did. While I understand why it took so long (since it was meant for a very senior role), it could’ve been done in a more efficient manner but the interviewers did constantly update along the way.
