I would first need to have a relationship with the nurse so that she trusts me and knows that I'm keeping her best interests in mind. I would ask her to either cut back her hours to keep her current rate or to keep her current hours but take a flat rate for the week so that she still takes in a good amount of money without keeping labor too high.
