The process involved three rounds: an initial screening, a technical interview, and a final round with the manager. Each round went well, and I received very positive feedback throughout. However, after investing significant time and effort, I was informed that they decided to go with an internal candidate! While I understand the preference for internal hires, it was disappointing not to be informed earlier in the process. This experience left me feeling that my time was not valued and that better transparency could improve the candidate experience.
