Interview
While I did not get an interview for this position, I'd like to state how absurdly difficult it is to get an interview for them. I submitted 2 resumes for different, but closely related, openings.
Each resume was tailored to match the responsibilities and qualifications (meeting 90-95%) of what they are looking for. For one of the positions, an assessment test was given where I scored very well on.
A few days later, I receive the generic " At this time we have decided to pursue other candidates whose background and skills more closely match our requirements for this position" email. Again, the resumes that were submitted for both positions was tailored to match nearly 100% what they were looking for, with a cover letter backing it up. The only candidates whose background and skills more closely match their requirements are people who are currently working at those positions at that company.
And here is the kicker...I was curious about who works at Liberty Mutual with those job titles. So I went on an unnamed social networking for professionals website and reviewed the profiles of those who work at those positions. And here is what I found: even their current workforce does not meet the qualifications the company sets for their own jobs!
Very disappointed with Liberty Mutual and their approach with hiring qualified candidates.

Interview
Interviews were fine. Problem came after when senior manager said 1-2 weeks. 6 weeks went by and she said a recruiter would be in touch. No one ever reached out to me. I got the automated “feedback survey” form in my email as a decision. Disappointing.

Offer
Very simple and straight forward. Asked about my background primarily and 2 star questions. Received a call with an offer before the end of the day.

HR made a very quick call, it only lasted a few minutes. They mainly asked about my previous experience and went through a few basic checklist questions, like confirming my eligibility and availability. It felt more like a preliminary screening rather than a full interview.
