I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lidl (West Bromwich, England) in Apr 2016
Interview
Was invited to take part in a telephone interview, this lasted roughly 10 mins. Questions asked included what do i know about the company, why should i be considered for the role etc..really straighforward interview. After 2 days i received an email inviting me to a face to face meeting. This also lasted around 10 mins. I was asked what hours i could work, if i was happy with early starts/late nights which i said i was and if i was comfortable with heavy lifting. All in all a really easy experience. So why wasnt i offered a position?!!
they introduce themselves and then you have to introduce yourself and tell them about yourself and they tell you what is the interview process and then they start asking the interview questions.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lidl (London, England) in Jul 2026
Interview
Scripted questions that were very simple if you have had any sort of retail/ service experience so nothing too outlandish. Would suggest to come prepared with some basic knowledge of retail before hand is you are unfamiliar.
