I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Life Time (Allen, TX) in May 2013
Interview
I got a call regarding an interview. I showed up and answered some basic situational questions with a group of teenagers who were also interviewing for a position in the Child Center. The hiring manager then gave us the mission statement and told us to memorize it for a second interview. I received the call about the second interview, recited the mission statement, and got the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If a parent is upset and verbally insults you, what do you do?
A few questions about childcare experience and managing conflict at work. They also asked about managing interactions with clients and customer service. The questions were fairly easy and relaxed. Not really that much to say about the interview process. It was pretty easy, but I did have an advantage, seeing that a friend was already working there and put in a good word for me.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback We’re glad the interview felt relaxed, though we’re always looking for ways to make the experience more engaging and informative for candidates. Your insight helps us continue improving how we connect with and evaluate talent. We appreciate you taking the time to share!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Life Time (Orland Park, IL) in Nov 2018
Interview
I was asked the basic questions all lifetime members get asked. It has to do with their mission statement. For each quality in their mission statement, they ask you a question on how you exemplify that quality.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in Nov 2017
Interview
It was a quick and easy interview. The interviewer talked me through the job and asked me some basic questions. We spoke more on the casual side and had a friendly conversation. Good experience.
