I applied through LinkedIn with a personalized cover letter addressed to the recruiter who posted it along with my resume. As a local candidate, my experience and background was also parallel to the job description and she declined my application the same day. This is the problem with company's like Light & Wonder that have recruiters like this making the calls. You're missing out on perfectly good candidates.
