The interview process is very one-sided. The meeting times skip, and schedules change. They do not make you feel valued and critical for the success of the company. They need to fix that. They do not invite on-site to see their workplace and laboratory. This does not instill confidence that they are actually building a product. They have an inexperienced silicon photonics team with no real management. There is a general lack of understanding of what silicon photonics engineers in the industry do and how. They question your strength in analytical or brain teaser questions. Overall, you will be quizzed and they do not know what they are looking for.
