Interview
Received a call from a recruiter first. She simply went over my resume and asked basic questions- very easy! From that point, 3 more interviews were scheduled the following week. The first was a webinar where I was asked to give a 20 minute presentation followed by some interview questions. The interviewer was very friendly and responsive. The next was an interview with a panel of employees. This was a much more difficult and they asked challenging questions. It was very difficult to gauge their interest as it was over the phone and they were rapid firing questions without any follow up responses. I found this to be somewhat intimidating. The last interview was with another employee in a similar position as the one I had applied for. This interview was relatively easy, pretty standard questions, and she was very relatable. Everyone that I have spoke with has been responsive and friendly so in that aspect, I am very impressed. However, the efficiency of the interviewing process seems to be lacking. All 3 interviews were within a week's timeframe which would suggest LFG wanted this position filled quickly. I was told after my third interview that I would hear the following week (after the team collaborated) as to whether or not I got the position. That week came and went. I followed up, got an immediate response that it would be the following week. That week also came and went. I then called, got several apologies, and was reassured that the position was still open, they just had some delays but would notify me the following week. At this point, it has been 8 weeks since my first contact with a recruiter and I'm still in the "pending" stage. I am still actively employed; however, I'm not sure how many qualified candidates who are needing employment can afford 8+ weeks waiting on a response.
Standard process. 3 rounds of interviews which included the job recruiter, hiring manager and a panel of soon to be colleagues. All interviews were conducted virtually. Entire process took about 1.5 months.

Interview
I had a brief telephone interview with a recruiter. She rejected me nearly immediately. The conversation took a huge turn for the negative after I suggested my base desire salary (nothing crazy). It was a really negative experience for me as a woman, because at the next interview I got, I thought of how I was immediately disqualified, and it caused me to lowball my base salary request at the next job, and the recruiter was shocked by how low my request was given my experience in Finance. I left thousands on the table. Moral of the story, you are worthy, do not be afraid to ask for what you are worth.
