The interview process was comprised of approximately 6 discussions (if you count the offer). Listed below are summaries of each in the order they occurred. 1. HR Screening: This was a short phone call with an HR representative / recruiter, lasting about 25 minutes. We discussed interest in the position and they asked some questions to verify i was eligible to work and things of that nature. The hiring manager for the role had also given some question to see if i new some basic things to be able to move forward (basic coding questions like what is your favorite library and why). 2. Data Science Interview: This interview was via teams and lasted about 25 minutes. It was mostly a conversation about data science experiences and methods used. 3. Technical Interview: This one was held via teams and lasted about an hour. We went through sample code and discussed what things could be done better, why things were done the way they were, and various what if scenarios based on the sample code. 4. Meeting with Hiring manager: Discussed interest, questions about the role, and next steps. 5. Meeting with another manager: Discussed interest, questions about the role, and next steps. This was similar to the previous interview but with the purpose of getting to know more of the team to make sure you are able to fit with the team and communicate. 6. The offer: you finally get to take a breath and be happy you made it this far. Overall it was a great interview process, everyone I spoke to was respectful, kind, and enjoyable to talk to.
