Applied got a call from the recruiter a week later then meet with two managers. They asked STAR method questions and had a copy of my resume for the interview. Got offered the job the next day. Was a very seamless process

I applied online through a employee referral and received an email to setup a phone interview via email 8 days later. The recruiter asked questions from my resume about previous work experience and gaps of employment. She also went over the pay for the position which was 42k and said they would be making a decision for those to proceed with the hiring process within the next week. Well, I guess it's safe to say that I wasn't selected, it's been a week and I haven't heard anything. At the end of the call she told me when I should expect a call back and pay to only get my hopes up. I sent a follow up email and have yet got any response.
