I applied online… quick response(less than a week), phone interview with recruiter(extremely pleasant experience), quick response(the next day) and request for 2nd interview. Scheduled 2nd interview and felt that the interaction went well and was excited at the prospects. Something tipped me off that a problem was present when I sent a thank you email to both hiring managers the day following my interview, and no response… not even a “nice to meet you, enjoyed speaking with you”…nothing but crickets. After about a week and a half, I reached out to recruiter for advisement on next steps… recruiter stated “decision should be made in the next two weeks.” 2 weeks later, job still posted, no word… Reached out to recruiter again after that time frame… ghosted… I’ve heard nothing, but the message is clear. #Communication goes a long way. #I’m interviewing you too!
