I submitted my resume through an online job posting site ( perhaps Monster or Indeed- I cannot remember ) and received an email inviting me to come to one of the Learning Centers for an interview. I arrived, then with two other candidates, filled out a standard job application - I wrote "See Resume" when asked about previous work experience. The Job posting had listed $17.00 per hour, so that is what I wrote in the "desired salary" box. Then I was shown a video and took a spelling test that was presented audibly in the video ( words included brief, cacophony, medieval, success, character among others), along with some "nonsense words" that I spelled phonetically. Then I took a reading test that required analyzing paragraphs. Apparently I passed as I was invited to return for a second interview.
