I have applied the position through the referral. I passed the first technical interview and a second one I talked with the manager, maybe there was the phone connection issue however he sounds like he is a very old guy and runs out of energy to talk. It was so hard to understand what he tried to say on the phone. The interview should be 45 minutes but it was lasted only 15 minutes. I could answer all his technical questions. I've asked him why it is so short, it makes no look good for me. He was so rude and laughed, he responded that he has few more candidates and also moody/cranky voice to say that do I have any questions for him?. I tried to ask couple more questions and then dropped off. Several days later I got the call from recruiter, he said that unfortunately the manager makes decision to move on to different candidates. The whole interview process is only the recruiter who is done the great job to follow up and emailed me the update. This was my first time interview with Linkedin. I am very disappointed because I heard Linkedin is an awesome place to work. Why did they hire him? The manager couldn't put his act together during interview and no professional at all. The technical interview is very easy, it is about basic Unix/Win. The major obstacle for this position is to deal with the manager.
