The first few stages were fairly standard: HR screen, manager interview, and a back-to-back interviews with 2 potential colleagues. The recruitment team was not very responsive - and just getting those two interviews took several months. Then, a month later, they asked me to put together a 25 minute powerpoint presentation (from a case study prompt) over Thanksgiving weekend. I was to come in and present to a panel for just under a half-hour, with the remaining time for Q&A from the panelists. The panelists were rude and dismissive. They told me not to bother going through my whole presentation - "could you just give the high line takeaways in five minutes." Then, they interrupted during the entire few minutes they had allocated. After, they grilled me on why I didn't hit points X,Y,and Z - which were covered in the actual presentation, but they hadn't allowed me to present - despite the hours of work that went into the case study and making the presentation. Each person also seemed to have entirely different expectations of what the role was and how it would serve their team - not aligned and certainly not set up for success. After more than a month, I STILL had not heard anything back from the recruiters - or any response to my thank you notes from the panelists - and I decided to withdraw.
