Interview
I had a phone screen with a recruiter based out of Louisiana for a job that would ultimately be in California (weird, but okay). The recruiter contacted me right before Christmas of 2019 and right before I was set to leave the country on vacation. I tell her that I can do the phone screen but that my time is limited due to my trip. She tells me that I can absolutely wait until after I come back in January in order to do the phone screen to talk about the Executive Assistant role. Cool.
Fast forward to January- I have the phone screen with her and she tells me that someone else was hired for the role already. Ummm.....but wasn't that the whole point of having this phone screen that you told me that I could wait to have? So that we could talk about the EA role.....that you apparently gave to someone else?? The recruiter then proceeds to tell me that they have another role open- a role that I'm already, currently in (and want to get out of). I'm not exactly excited about it. She then proceeds to tell me that they may have another Executive Assistant role opening up but that she needed to check with the hiring team and that she'd give me a call back to give me the details when she met with them the next day. Long story short: the next day came and went. I haven't heard back from her since. Seemed like a really messy and disorganized process that could've been more streamlined had everybody actually communicated with one another. And had the recruiter in question communicated with me and had been honest. Maybe I dodged a bullet by not getting that call back.

Interview
Going through three rounds of interviews for the Executive Assistant position was quite an experience. Meeting with four different people throughout the process, I was struck by how friendly and approachable everyone was. It made talking to them a lot easier.
Despite my best efforts, I didn't get the job. It's disappointing, but I'm thankful for the opportunity.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Interviewed with fellow EA, three weeks later after hearing nothing they call and say the hiring manager wants to speak with me. The interview is set up then day of is pushed out a week. Then 5 minutes before the rescheduled interview is supposed to take place, the recruiter calls to say they have to postpone again. Talk about rude! I won't be rescheduling. You obviously don't value my time.
