Interview
I went through a recruiter screen and was passed on to the hiring manager. I had a hard time reading what they thought and assumed I was rejected after no response for over a week, but when I reached out to the recruiter, they said they wanted to move on to a technical round.
I had to follow up with the recruiter multiple times to get the interview format, and I was asked to reschedule the interview the morning of. I was accommodating and moved the interview back later in the day.
The technical round was somewhat chaotic, with coding questions being completed in a shared Google Doc. The interviewers seemed engaged but disorganized. I offered some solutions that they disagreed with but were objectively correct, which they acknowledged later in the interview after running the code I had to write.
After a few days with no response, I reached out to the recruiter but never received a reply. Over the next few weeks, I sent several follow-up emails with no response.

Interview
The interview process consisted of a phone interview with the recruiter followed by a video interview with the hiring manager. I didn't receive an offer although the communication during the process was exemplary. Specifically, I received a detailed email from the hiring manager explaining his decision which was a breath of fresh air in a job search climate in which impersonal rejection emails (or no update at all) are unfortunately the norm.
