The process was straight forward with the phone screening, technical interview, then one more interview with one of the heads of engineering. I was given a verbal offer, and that was almost two months ago. There were issues with remote situation being my country of residence wasn’t yet covered for the payroll clients that they use. They dragged on and the scheduling at my current employer and holiday situation would leave me to have to delay my starting date. They were fine with that as they wanted to hold off the official offer due to the remote situation and some issues with the investment round. I get back to them a month later, just to check up and also inform them that the payroll client that they are use, can now handle payroll service for my country of residence. So I’m told I should get feedback and “numbers and dates” should be resolved (I guess for the offer?) within a specified day. They didn’t get back to me by said specified day. So they tell me, the next day….still no paper offer or feedback moving forward. I went against better judgment. Gave them one more chance as they gave yet another reason for the delays. So waited for a response for the beginning of this week and still nothing. So it had been 2 more weeks of stalling from them for the official offer, along with the 5 weeks delay prior to that. With their horrid review scores, which their explanation for them was rather weak, along with two more 1-star reviews just coming in this month, I gave up on Liven. I can not recommend anyone to apply for this company. They just seem too unstable and there are way too many red flags.
