Only one face-to-face interview held with the front end manager. She was interested in my previous work experience, and she was fairly easy to talk to. She went over my resume, and talked about my experience volunteering in the community, and what my plans were for school. I found out later on that a big part of the interview process is to assess your social skills. As a customer service representative or a cashier you need to be able to comfortably hold a conversation with a stranger, and have a positive attitude while doing so. She asked me about what I do outside of school, and work in order to see what my availability/ time-management will be like. It was a very comfortable atmosphere, and I saw it more as a conversation than an interview. I asked her questions about what my responsibilities would be, and what she would expect of me, and I think that that made the experience a little bit more comfortable than if she just asked me questions.
