Contrary to what I have been reading here, I had a positive interview experience with Loblaw Digital. I have been told, and believe to be true, that they have made some improvements to their hiring process. The interview process was quite tedious; however, it is understandable to want to make sure to hire the right candidate for the job.
For the interview itself, it started off with a phone conversation with HR which then led to an in person interview with the department lead a few weeks later. The first in-person interview was roughly an hour long to understand the skill sets and professional experience of the candidate. The second and final interview(s) was 2.5 hours long with 5 different levels of management. This had more of a casual conversation vibe, I'm assuming, to get an idea of how the candidate was as a person.
All in all, even though I did not receive an offer, I felt the experience to be professional and positive.
