I applied in-person. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
I went through multiple rounds of interviews. I had 7 different interviews, over the course of three trips to see them. They informed me I was one of their top two candidates. I then didn't hear from them for a month. I called to get an update, and was told "sorry, things are a little chaotic right now internally, please have patience with us." Another month went by. I called again. I got no reply. I then got a form letter from HR saying I did not receive the job. I sent a note to HR asking if they could provide some feedback, and got no reply. It was unprofessional and rude, to say the least, given how far in the process I'd gotten. It left me with such a bad feeling about the entire place.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (New York, NY) in Apr 2019
Interview
It was a long process. They had me come in person for three rounds, two of the rounds with multiple interviews. I was one of the finalists for the role, and then they didn't do me the courtesy of getting in touch to let me know I hadn't gotten the position. I followed up and got no response. About 5 months later, I got a form letter notifying me. It was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.
