I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Denver, CO) in May 2014
Interview
After a brief phone interview, I was called in for a series of interviews. They all took place in one afternoon. I spoke with my eventual manager, one of his technical leads, and another employee whom I haven't ever worked with again. Each interview was one-on-one, and I recall more personality-type questions than technical. Of course they wanted to hear about my experience as well.
Panel interview with hiring manager and several engineers on the team. Started with the program mission and how the role will fill the current gap. Questions related to technical skills on resume and what-would-you-do type scenarios. Overall, good experience.
Interview is straightforward and easygoing, they ask situational/behavioral questions that you should respond with in the STAR format. They also look over your resume and ask you about stuff on that.

Interview
Mostly behavioral questions using star method, and some technical. Interviewed my the hiring manager his manager if I remember. But overall they were really nice and helped clarify the direction they wanted their questions to be answered
