The process was lengthly and involved a phone interview and 2 in person interviews. During the interview, the focus seemed to be on personality verses core skills, although perhaps core skills had been covered adequately in the resume and reference review.

What was your sales plan for the next three years if joining the company. The interviewer then had me walk through a step by step sale plan for the upcoming quarter, year and three years. This involved budgeting, sales metrics, goals, and aspirational levels.
