I went through a total of five interview rounds. The first was an initial video call with HR, which mainly focused on topics such as work sponsorship and questions specific to job location. The next call was with HR again, my current manager. These conversations were smoother and included general questions like "Tell me about yourself," my experience with automation in past projects, the tech stack I’ve used, details about the role, and working hours. Following that, I had a more technical interview with the VP. This round was a bit challenging. He asked in-depth questions related to SQL, REST APIs, and message queuing systems. He seemed to be assessing not only my technical knowledge but also how confidently I could explain my answers. There was also a data structures question during this round. About a week later, I was interviewed by the project manager and scrum master. This was a relaxed conversation with no technical questions. Lastly, I had a discussion with a senior team member who was very technically sound. He asked questions about tools like Postman, messaging systems, and logging mechanisms. Shortly after, I was contacted by HR and informed that I had been selected for the role.
