Started with an interview with the hiring manager, which went well enough. I was told that there would be a coding project which would take about 6-8 hours to complete, and then they would have a technical interview after I completed that to discuss the project. The project was a simple Traffic Controller, and I spent a lot of time creating tests and writing documentation for this, which was something they emphasized in the instructions, along with writing the code. I submitted it, then 2 days later was told I was rejected. I don't think they even looked at what I did. It shows a lot of contempt for the interviewer's time to demand an 8 hour project, and then not even contact them back to discuss it.
