The initial set-up was fine, meeting with the hiring manager and the team was fine. The problem was more so the end. I was told a time frame when that decision was to be made, and it came and went. Pinged the recruiter "have a decision tomorrow", came and went, nothing. A week later I pinged the recruiter, nothing. Pinged the Hiring Manager, got a reply back from the recruiter stating the "team had had a hard time deciding" and I wouldn't be moving forward. Recruiters need to deliver updates when things get delayed, this didn't happen and left a very sour taste in my mouth. You can say "we'll keep you in mind for future openings" but after this type of an experience, I'm not sure many job seekers would even consider the company as a future employer. No candidate should have to reach out to the company to be told they didn't get the job. That job rests with the recruiting team. LR might want to look at how they'll handling their recruiting given some of these recent experiences.
