      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Logz.io (Boston, MA) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Resume was submitted by referral and after 1-2 weeks heard from Admin by email to schedule interview. I know this is a very busy start-up, I was expecting delays in contact. Brought in during a staff lunch day and informally got a good feel for the office culture. Talked to department Manager about my personal approach and goals, then talked to current team member about skills. Interview ended with a 7 day HW assignment. Assignment was not pro-bono work but an honest test of skills and understanding of business needs. Very motivated and focused team working in an incredibly interesting field. Small team of dedicated and intelligent workers. If you fit their skill set, prepare to be mentored and guided during your time there. I recognized where my faults were but was happy to have a chance to meet the team.
