I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Tuscaloosa, AL) in Apr 2011
Interview
My interview process was pretty similar to what I feel most mid-twenties experience when going to work for an hourly wage. In my case, I happened to have worked with one of the servers at two previous restaurants and he put in a good word for me with the management. When I interviewed it was all pretty standard stuff about past work experience and finding out if you are a team player. I had previously worked an hourly management position and one of my jobs was going over potential hires. Because of that it was about as low pressure as you could possibly get. I was offered the position at the table and started that week.

Question 1
How long have you been serving? How would you handle a difficult customer? etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Tucker, GA)
Interview
Got a job offer after the interview and never received a call back. Followed up twice & still nothing. Not sure what happened, but I just had to give up after exhausting all options. Ended up getting an email 2 months later saying that I didn't get the position. Very strange.
Had a great interview that resulted in a job offer but they never called me back & I followed up with them twice. A bit disappointed, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
