Lonza Sr. Human Resources Business Partner interview questions

My first communication with this company was a text message to set up a time to chat further about my background from a recruiter at Lonza. I did think it was strange that they didn't email first but maybe I've just been out of the hiring game for a while. The recruiter who set up the phone screen seemed very green (amateur). He clearly didn't know the area he was hiring in (Portsmouth) and questioned where I lived in relation to the office which was 20 minutes away. (Usually, recruiters ask if you are within a commutable distance to the office versus where do you live). Asked questions about my background reading off a script. Didn't explain anything about the company just some bullets on what they were looking for in this role. I also got the sense he didn't understand what HR Business Partners actually do as I was explaining my background so made it challenging to get a gauge on what they were looking for and if I was the right match. Definitely not a great first impression.
