Submitted my application in November and tailored it to a specific desk instead of the general internship program. I didn't hear back until mid-Decemeber. I had one interview with the role supervisor and another editor. Very informal interview, and we spent most of the call talking about current news so I had to work to weave in my experiences. Heard back about the role a little over a week later.
