I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (Palm Beach, FL) in Sep 2012
Interview
The interview process was short and brief. I was offered the position within 2 days after the interview. the store manager interviewed me at the location with basic questions. The interview was casual quick. I learned about the position on the mall's website and decided to give it a try since I've never had prior retail experience. After submitting my application and resume, I was offered a 1 on 1 interview with the manager of the location. After the offering the pay rate, drug test and background check was done. couple weeks after the offer, I was on board working for the company.
Consisted of both video and in-person interview, and another interview with the store director. So three interviews total. Other than that, pretty straight forward, with the standard retail interview questions. Few questions about the brand itself to gauge your knowledge of the brand and their products.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
It was a store manager interviewed with me. It was very easy. He is very friendly. Just like had a between friend and friend conversation. I very enjoy the conversation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
The interview process was held during the time of COVID-19, so it was remote. There were about 30-40 other applicants all on the same Zoom call. We were split into break out rooms and asked questions at random. In the first breakout room, I was asked a question with 15 seconds left and was not able to respond. I was not even asked a question in the second breakout room, although some applicants got to speak multiple times. We were all promised to hear back within 4 days about the status of our application, I sent a follow-up thank you email, and still never heard back from anyone at the company. Not happy with how the process went... at all. Felt like a waste of a 2-hour interview process where I just listened to others speak then never heard back from anyone, not even a generic pre-written email about how I did not get the job.
