I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Nacogdoches, TX) in Feb 2012
Interview
There is a lengthy questionnaire with the online application. The interview is a series of questions like "describe a time when you had to solve a problem..." The HR manager asks a set of these questions and then another manager, the assistant store manager in my case, asks another set of these questions. They didn't really seem to care or ask about my experience with the products their store carries.

Interview
The interview was a brief 15-minute discussion of the hours you are available and scenario questions to see if you are a natural problem solver. It was low-stress and I had the chance to ask many of my own questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Holmdel, NJ) in Apr 2023
Interview
Everything is easy as long as the staff themselves are friendly. There are also standard background checks, such as basic information and a drug test. There aren't much qualifications for this job as long as you're behaved well, know basic math, and are willing to take any responsibilities.
