I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lucanet (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Jul 2026

Interview

30 minutes interview with their HR who is very nice and likeable and runs a basic culture fit + some basic questions about Product. 75 minutes interview with their Head of Product who is a lovely lady from Ukraine that seems to know their product really well. Another interview with a VP that i did not get to because i did not make it past the technical interview. The "technical" interview is basically 2 exercises and 1 prioritisation question.

Question 1

First: you need to run the Product Manager process for a client that wants to build a learning platform for schools and universities etc. You have around 45 minutes for this.

Second: you get a lovable link with an app they built(really impressed by their effort) which simulates a 10 minute "discovery interview challenge". discovery-challenge.lovable.app You have 10 minutes for this with a literal timer set at 10 minutes and you are sharing your screen with the Head of Product. If you dont have deep finance experience, it is very hard to understand what the issue is about.
