Had a nice discussion with the hiring manager after and was moved quickly to the third stage to meet two team members - who had basic questions about the website and my experience. I was told I would be notified from the recruiter of the final decision for an offer in two days on Monday. 2 weeks passed and the recruitment story took a turn when I received a dry automated email from an Executive Talent Partner, a different recruiter that the position had been filled and included the words “I had to reject” for those of us unlucky ones. If a candidate has made it through three rounds of interviews the least you can do is send them a personal message with useful feedback and a ‘thank you for your time’. When did treating candidates like cattle running through a factory become mainstream? Disappointing. Do better.
