I had an initial interview with a recruiter in Las Vegas, even though the role is based here in London. The recruiter said I was a great fit and he will be putting me through to an in-person interview with the hiring manager in London the following week. That was the last I heard from him (>2 months ago). I have subsequently emailed him to ask what's going on, as the role is still being advertised on LinkedIn - he is not responding. My application is still live on their portal, but no communication whatsoever on what is happening. Ghosting candidates is very unprofessional and is completely unacceptable in 2024.
