From March to May I completed 7 interviews (not counting the initial call with the recruiter who reached out to me first for a job I didn’t apply for). I was told CEO approval (& budget) was given for the role in interview 2 & they wanted to “move swiftly” and hire in the next 30-60 days….clearly that wasn’t the case because 2 weeks after all the interviews (over 2 months from initial contact), I was told the team “hadn’t had time” to discuss any of the interviews I had. Then a MONTH after that (yes, now into mid-June) I was told the position was put on hold. I mentioned that I started a contract job in the meantime (even giving the end date) and was told to reach back out once it ended. I did, in AUGUST, & was told the position was still on hold (figured I put in so much energy it was worth a shot). I DO NOT RECOMMEND interviewing for them if you actually want a job and don’t want to just give them ideas for what to include on their job descriptions.
