Interview starts with a phone screen and is followed by an interview with the QA Manager / Engineering Operations Mgr. I interviewed around April and although I wasn't extended an offer I can only say good things about everyone I was in contact with. I was impressed by the hiring managers holistic approach to QA. In my experience too many managers treat QA as being a police of some sorts, which leads to approaching tasks and interactions with other teams as a police.
I was also impressed by the responsiveness of the recruiting team. Rosa was prompt and made every step of the process clear. When there was potential for a lengthy gap in the process due to scheduling she made sure to make that clear so that I wouldn't be left wondering if the process was continuing or not. I was also able to get feedback after my interview which seems like a bonus in this day and age of lazy recruiting but it added so much to my perception of the company. So many recruiting teams at tech companies forget that they are part of the few members of the company that interact with the public. This team gets it. I am going to encourage all of my friends to apply.
